What exactly does that mean? Either they will broadcast it or they won't. It's not that big of an ordeal to broadcast the game.

Mojo, to answer your question, no, Comcast could not promote the Phantoms any more than they did for the simple reason that they don't want to. The last thing that Comcast wants is for there to be a huge increase in support for the Phantoms for when the NHL resumes. It would be a complete embarrassment if the Phantoms started to draw more than the Flyers (just ask Wirtz how he feels about the Wolves outdrawing the Blackhawks).

If the organization really wanted to promote the Phantoms, they could have. They had a ton of unused television time, available broadcasters, support staff, etc. Instead, Comcast chose to ignore the Phantoms and show re-runs of Inside Golf and poker. is offline
