I don't play regular season pools, but the 2 points for a goal is an interesting twist. These would have been the 30 best guys to take, by this criterion, last year (everybody pro-rated to 82 games):

Code:
1	NASLUND	152
2	HEJDUK	144
3	BERTUZZI	143
4	THORNTON	135
5	MURRAY	132
6	FORSBERG	131
7	DEMITRA	128
8	HOSSA	123
9	PALFFY	122
10	HEATLEY	122
11	LEMIEUX	119
12	FEDOROV	117
13	KOVALEV	114
14	JAGR	113
15	HULL	113
16	MOGILNY	112
17	MODANO	112
18	LECAVALIER	110
19	SUNDIN	109
20	KARIYA	106
21	ALFREDSSON	105
22	ST. LOUIS	103
23	JOKINEN	101
24	WHITNEY	100
25	IGINLA	100
26	PROSPAL	99
27	KOVALCHUK	99
28	SATAN	98
29	SHANAHAN	98
30	MORRISON	96
Heatley is out.

Lemiuex is obviously an injury risk.

A healthy Iginla will probably be in the top five by this scoring system.

Jason Allison top ten if he plays enough.

Tkachuk, when healthy is a good pick to finish top 20 IMO.

With the linemates he'll have ... you'd be crazy not to take Selanne methinks.

Samsonov will rock at this system if he stays healthy.

In no paricular order, these would be my top 25 guesses:

Code:
NASLUND
HEJDUK
BERTUZZI
THORNTON
MURRAY
FORSBERG
DEMITRA
HOSSA
PALFFY
SELANNE
LEMIEUX
FEDOROV
KOVALEV
JAGR
HULL
MOGILNY
MODANO
LECAVALIER
SUNDIN
KARIYA
SAKIC
ALLISON
IGINLA
TKACHUK
SAMSONOV
I'd be a bit leery of coattail-riders like Murray. But it boils down to guessing which guys will stay healthiest of this bunch IMO.

Just my guesses. And I've probably forgotten about someone who had big injury problems last year.
