I'm thrilled to see Ballard is back. Hopefully, he doesn't get a ridiculously short leash and is allowed to make a mistake. I think a guy can play really tentative when he's held out of the lineup and make even worse mistakes as a result. He needs to get a good 4-5 games in a row before we should come to any sort of judgment on his play.

Alberts had the worse game last night but he brings way more to the table as a #6 than Rome. Huge hits and nice blocks. Their positioning ability isn't really that much different and Rome has struggled recently as well. I can't for the life of me figure out how Rome is getting 18-21 minutes a night. It's mind-boggling. The #6 guy should be playing at most 15 very sheltered minutes, whether that's Alberts or Rome.

Absolutely need to tighten up the D, and if the pairings stay the same, Crosby is going to eat us alive.
