Whether you're breaking blades or shafts 2-pieces will work out cheaper, as both blades and shafts are generally much cheaper than full OPS sticks. Check out the totalone for example:

So if you break the shaft it's $116 to replace, if you break the blade it's $63 to replace, but if you break any part of the 1-piece it's $230 to replace, unless you wanna try some craziness with chopping off and replacing a broken blade.
