Both teams will either have to buyout those players, or that no escape clause is in case no deal is reached, so should the NHL not start on time, then both players would be with their Russian club for the whole season, whether or not a deal is reached in the NHL mid season...
You'd think that such a big deal would of reached North America by now, don't you think it would be in the Detroit and Montreal media by now?
Isn't Markov under contract with the Habs for 2005-06?
