That is true in some cases, but not all. After all, while McGill/Renney's system will presumably be adopted by the Rangers, there will much more skilled players on the roster. In other words, instead of playing with Nycholat/Bouchard/Lampman, Pock might find himself paired with Rachunek/Poti/Kasparaitis. Moreover, if Pock is dishing pucks to Jagr and Nylander on the PP instead of Garth Murray and Jed Ortmeyer, you can bet is point totals will go up. I believe, at least, that linemates and chemistry are just as important as individual skill in determining output/success.
