Nystrom was a very promising player after an 18 goal freshman season before being drafted 10th overall by the Flames. However, he regressed after that freshman season, scoring only 38 goals in his next 3 seasons. Nystrom and Zucker are fairly different prospects. Zucker's a noticeable amount smaller, but also quicker with what will likely be a better shot. Its highly unlikely Zucker will be the caliber of fighter that Eric Nystrom is as well. I'd say Casey Wellman would be a better comparison, though Zucker is quite a bit ahead of Wellman at the same age. Quick, hard working 2-way forward with a respectable shot.
