Again, it goes back to our lack of center depth. Having Smithson and Spaling as your 3rd and 4th line centers means that your production is going to be limited from the bottom six. The fact of the matter is that the Predators must give Trotz a 3rd center with offensive instincts to roll a third scoring line and have the ability to put together an energy/special teams unit for a 4th line that gets maybe 8-11 minutes a game.

The lineup is missing a key element right now with Lombardi and Legwand both on IR...
I guess the obvious question here is, why were three forwards limited because one had the flu. I get that without Spaling we have 11 forwards, but how does Nick's flu factor into SK's ability?
