Patience man. FFS, Hedman is 19 years old. He made his debut as an 18 year old, is still growing and trying to figuere out how to use his size, came straight from the SEL to the NHL, had to get accustomed to a different rink size and a different style of hockey but still ranked 4th on the team with an average of 20.50 minutes ice time per game, finished 8th in scoring with 4 goals and 20 points in 74 games and was tied for 5th with a -3 on a team with horrible defense, streaky goaltending, no scoring depth, etc. Let's just be patient. Talent and size is there. Good coaching, too. Experience is not. Let him grow into it. With time.
