Thank you for posting that.

I have been trying to reiterate this over and over again but people seem to want to willingly suspend their ability to understand facts.

1. We get Richards this season and we will seriously curtail our organization's ability to respond properly when there is an injury because our NHL ready reserves aren't in the organization any more, or our AHLers have to pass waivers every time and we have to make use of LTIR.

2. Then next season, when Richards is making $70 mil over 10 years we hamstring our ability to sign our own core players.

3. Then we realize that Richards will be a point-per-game player for only another season or two.

4. Then it becomes a huge argument around here about how bad Rangers management is because we have a massive $7million albatross contract holding us back for the next 5-8 years.
