You pretty much can't get anything light under $100 new. I'd look for clearance One95's, SE16's, Dolomites, etc. Lots of them online for that price range.

Otherwise I'd pick up a tapered shaft and a tapered wood blade until you have the cash for a composite blade.

I actually just checked over at Ice Warehouse, an 8k + an Easton SE16 tapered blade with the 10% off coupon code (search Google) is about $100 and I think you get free shipping. I'd put that up against any $100 stick. Or a few bucks more and get a clearance Dolomite.
