This can only end badly for me:
trade for Sturm - conditional pick
resign Handzus 1 yr
resign Williams 3 yr
let Poni and Harrold go
Parse can push to outplay Smyth for the second line spot.
Loktionov can push to outplay Stoll for 2nd line center spot.
Schenn will get at least a half a season in Manchester to build on his pro game.
AMart, Voinov, Hickey and Muzzin will all challenge Drewiske for the six spot on D.
Semin - Kopi - Williams
Smyth - Stoll - Brown
Sturm - Handzus - Simmonds
Clifford - Richardson - Lewis/Westgarth
Johnson - Mitchell
Greene - A Mart/Voinov/Hickey/Muzzin/Drewiske
Edit: I think this plan wouldn't shake the team up too much at once, while giving us a wealth of tradeable players/prospects plus cap space for if/when a key trade option hits the market. Also, by years end(2012) Lokti, Schenn developement will make Smyth, Handzus expendable and one or two D prospects making a mark will set the tone for replacing Scuderi/Mitchell down the road.
Meanwhile the only players that I see as untradeable are Kopitar and Doughty.
