Games #1 & #5 were clearly the games where Cechmanek let the team down. Flyers were by far the better team in game #1, Cechmanek gave up a few questionable goals in the second period.
In game #5, the Flyers score a minute into the game and lead 1-0 until Cechmanek gives up one of the worst goals you will ever see to Smolinski.
Health plays a major factor come playoff time. Ottawa has more talent than we have, but we could certainly beat them in a series. Going into that series they were 100% healthy, while we were missing our #1 defenseman, our best center couldn't shoot the puck, Gagne couldn't skate & Yushkevich was playing with 1 arm.
Switch that around and and have us 100% healthy & have Ottawa missing Redden, Bonk can't shoot, Havlat can't skate & Phillips playing with one arm.
You may end up with a different result.

Health
Goaltending
Special Teams
