I do understand that Gilroy has played well and I totally agree that he should be in the lineup but I don't understand calling up McD just to sit in the press box. That doesn't really help his development especially when it seems as though he has gotten into a groove in CT.
Anyways...this doesn't solve our problem with Fedotenko. I guess Torts and management are just gona with til it gets closer to the game to make a last minute decision on who to call up if Feds doesnt get better.

It isn't the worst thing in the world. Just getting 5-6 days of practice can be a great experience for a young player. Going up against Gaborik and Dubinsky will show him some things. As well as talking and listening to the d-men already in NY.
