I get your point about high risk/return prospects but I don't think Mac's upside is enough to outweigh his riskiness compared to Sauer.
For argument's sake:
Mac's upside is a #3. Sauer's upside is a #4.
Mac's likelihood is 60%. Sauer's likelihood is 80-90%.
Not saying those are exact probabilities but that is my basic line of thought.
