I played up to the age of 13. Didn't make the Bantam team so I took up reffing and eventually got to NHL for a cup of coffee as a linesman. Experience, thirty-five years, working at every level, and selected to work the 1959 Memorial Cup between the Winnipeg Braves and Peterborough Petes. Scotty Bowman was coaching Peterborough.
