I don't see anything wrong with this scenerio. It is a young guy who obviously enjoys company who is living with a friend. How many of you have lived with friends or roommates when you first moved out, or still do? this is no different.
Whats different is the Crosby situation, it would be different if Giroux was living with Holmgren or something like that.
If I was playing in the NHL making tonnes of money, why would I spend a large amount on an oversized condo for one, when I can share expenses with a friend on the team, have the company, share household duties etc? It makes it easier on yourself when you have so much other stuff going on.
Also, there is no shame in living at home if the circumstances dictate so. I would rather have a degree, debt and a job with the ability to pay off my debts, buy a nice home and continue my career then have no degree, live in a **** appartment and work a **** job that has very little security considering my lack of a bonafide education.
If you are living at home, 25+, no education, part time job at the movie store etc and do not have some sort of disorder/retardation/physical limitations then you should feel shamed.
