i would put :

ont aussi marqué pour les Canadiens.
inverse the "marqué" and the "aussi"


The first part ... I would start with :
Hier soir au centre Bell ... and then ... les Canadiens de Montreal ont gagné ...
Unlike the first exemple (marqué and aussi), this one is not wrong ... but it doesn't sound good ! Properly constructed is the way i say it.
