I think it's a few more than three who are against the idea of people constantly getting away with circumventing the rule. Probably most people who are against trading are also against that, because holding up the clock is probably a prime motivation to be against trading.
Once we're in the last 6 rounds, anyone who's done this a couple times has just two hours to work with, and at that point they can trade on the clock to their heart's content, since it hurts no one. Their clock will go down to an hour and stay there.
I don't want the trading crowd to get militant or dig its heels in, I'm trying to be a problem solver here. What are some others' thoughts on the idea?
