So why pick him up? To finish 22nd in the league instead of 28th? It's too late to even make a playoff push - if this happened in November or *maybe* early December - I could see why they give Nabokov a shot, but not now.
Again Nabokov's agent said Nabokov is willing to play for ANY team that gives him a shot at being #1 goalie.
