I think the original deal could be greatly simplified. Does Boston really need/want Alfie? Phillips seems like a good fit. Outside of the picks and a slight interest in Hamill (whose been struggling and may benefit from a change of scenery), the others parts of the deal aren't too great for Ottawa. The Senators would probably trade off Ryder by the deadline if this trade were to occur...
