Considering the Blues' primary weakness is at centre, a player like Carter would be exactly what they're looking for.
Giroux would be another version of something the Blues have already: smaller players who have a long way to go before they're competent in the faceoff circle.
I don't see the need to make a move for Johnson at the moment, anyway.
