The Arch City Army did not impress me on the initial outing. Spirit and enthusiasm is welcomed, of course. The very, very, few times I did notice them from my seat in 105 was because they were so off kilter in the rapid-fire chanting of one of the standard hockey chants.

I read on their FB page that they were chanting "wake up lower bowl". Didn't hear that at all. I was actually watching the game. The group seems like a fairly forced, artificial deal. Still confused by the bizzare and obscure historical arch reference which means nothing to the city in this day and age. Certainly arches have nothing to do with the national image of Cbus, CBJ, or hockey even remotely. Just confusing, and their resistance and defensive attitude to a name revision is puzzling.

I love a loud crowd, but in response to the game, not random "soccer-style" gibberish coming from the rafters. Matt the Mask got a loud chant or two going from over in 114-115!
