You are 100% correct.

When Juliet says to Romeo in Shakespeare's play, "Wherefore are thou Romeo?" she's not actually asking where he is, but why he is who he is (in other words, why is Romeo a member of an enemy family that Juliet's family is feuding with, since Juliet turns out to have fallen in love with him).

So I guess the actual question here is: Why is Brown, Brown?
