Our defenseman our all very young and we have players in the system that fill similar roles to Forbort, they are just not projected to fill those roles as well, but you have to give to get and Forbort for Penner would be a steal on our part. We have defensemen to spare and Penner would fill our greatest need right now. Who is to say that Penner won't still be here in 2014?

And he scored 29 on a different team. He can score goals, is young, and fits the system. He is easily worth a mid first round pick, especially one that is half a decade away from making an impact.

“This is for you Kings fans wherever you may be. All the frustration and disappointment of the past is gone. The 45 year drought is over. The Los Angeles Kings are indeed the Kings of the National Hockey League. They are the 2012 Stanley Cup Champions!” - Bob Miller
