Wilson did not miss a shift after the Sarich goal. Yes, he lost his man and it was a big goal that was scored as a result. The fact is that every team has guys losing their man during games (happens about a handful of times) and this one resulted in a goal. Obviously Trotz liked the way Wilson was playing and continued to put him out. First time 4 on 4 in a long time as well.
Other than that one play, Wilson had a strong game. The backchecking on the one play probably saved a goal.
Anyone else noticing that Smithsons face offs have dropped significantly? I have looked at your last few games and other guys have "stepped up" in that department. I can't help but notice though that your face off specialist has been somewhat dissapointing as of late. Yet, he is still being used in the defensive end circles, then changing when it is in the neutral zone.
