Holy overreaction batman!
The Devils dominated us in the neutral zone tonight. Nothing to be ashamed of. The difference really was that Marty was slightly better than Lundqvist, who has looked ****** the past few games to be honest. We just can't finish, and the powerplay is an absolute abomination. Please, please, PLEASE get Brad Richards, Slats. He'd make this team astronomically better, because he can actually pass the puck on the tape without it bouncing like a superball.
Other than that, we played fairly well tonight. If Dubinsky finished those off, we would have won.
And btw, hating on Girardi for that, really? It was going in either way, unless you expect him to be Mr. Elastic and twist his wrists back far enough to get to an angle where he can properly clear it. The puck shouldn't have even beaten Lundqvist in the 1st place.
POTG: Vinny Prospal was unreal considering how long he's been out
Good: Sauer and McDonagh were excellent tonight. Other than that, nothing stood out to me.
Bad: Prust's penalty on Kovalchuk, the passing
Redden: Lundqvist, Dubinsky's posts, the powerplay
