So consensus across Sabres fans is that Connolly is out of Buffalo.

Why is there no chatter about him at all?

Dreger, McKenzie, AM640, Fan590, HNIC...Nobody has mentioned him. Is it because he was injured?

I've heard names like Joe Thornton and Vincent Lecavalier, but not Tim Connolly. And he's a UFA on a team that is outside of the playoffs.

Isn't this exactly the type of player the Leafs would be willing to give a try-out to for the remainder of the season? He is cheap to acquire, American-born, in his 'prime years', has good size, creative passer, can kill penalties, and has the speed to keep up with Phil Kessel.
