If Seguin is important to Boston, I bet there are players that are at least as good that could be had in a Karlsson trade. Personally I would look at the Stars or other teams stacked with young forwards for a trade involving Karlsson.
Just because you can afford to make a trade doesn't mean you should. Pittsburgh could afford to trade Malkin or Crosby since they have 2 #1 centers and a guy in Staal who could be a #2 guy. That doesn't make it a good idea. If Rundblad develops like EK has, could you imagine a point setup of Rundblad and Karlsson on the PP? If Rundblad doesn't develop, and we've traded Karlsson, then we are quite possibly screwed for good young PMD.
