Yes, it was a dissapointing effort overall but we were playing the Canucks and it was their home opener. I expect a much better effort on Saturday.
my comments are based on flames games in general, not just last night. i would agree with you that the 3rd and 4th line guys played alright last night and might be o.k this year.. i am going by the past few years where the 3rd and 4th lines were players like nichol and begin and jamie wright for example.... quite simply not good enough depth players.. i did think Betts looked good last night...
