I don't really see how any of this is interesting. It's irrelevant

Lapointe - 4th line option brought in at the deadline for a bit of toughness/experience. We gave up a 6th rounder for him I believe.
Auld - was signed cheap as a backup.
Smid - would have been a great pickup instead of Cheechoo - he's a solid d-man.
Kuba - a disaster but wasn't as much of one when acquired.

So whats the point - who cares if Murray drafted them?
