There's that. Plus he's affordable. Plus if Monty is fine, I'd still trust Weaver as the #7 over Rivet/Butler/AHLer. And he's under contract next year so they'll have a semblance of a safety net if Monty walks. If you list defensive depth as a possible need, I think he fills it well.
