Call Anderson Cooper, this is goin on the Ridcu-List!
Why would Chicago even slightly consider trading a 35+ goal scorer signed for just under 4M through next seaosn? Sharp's value to this team isn't even just about his goals, assists, and points. He's a veteran leader, a great locker room guy, and he's been part of the maturing of Chicago from dormant franchise to Stanley Cup Champion.
It would take an extreme overpayment to even get Bowman to not hang up the phone. We're talking your best prospect, 1st round pick, and a solid roster player signed through next season.
For instance, for a team like LA to get him (not saying they have interest, just providing an example) it would take Schenn, 1st, Simmonds just to get Bowman to listen.
