It's not dumb because he's the kind of D we do NOT want in Montreal. He has no role whatsoever, he doesn't play on the pp, he's not a good puck-moving defensmens, he's terrible defensively and doesn't hit. Atleast with Gill and Spacek we get D's that arre really good in his own zone.
