Not when there are/were no less than 15-17 teams in the league all withing a few points of being in and missing the PO's.
In this case we had gone without him for chunks of the season and been fine so it's not thaty much of a risk. Especially when you consider the need to open some extra cap space somehow. We didn't open as much as I hoped we would by trading Roszi but we still did open some. It was a plenty smart way to approach this specific situation. No it would not be a smart general philosophy though.
