again, was the almighty gordie clark involved in this decision. hmmm....

good luck trading him, hes got little to no vlaue to anyone who watches our games. i dont see us resigning him. hes history if vtank or kundratek continue making strides. and pashnin is still lurking too.

Pashnin will never play for the Rangers.

And if Valentenko were highly regarded by the Rangers he would have had an opportunity at some point this season with injuries, and Del Zotto and Gilroy having struggles. He's been FAR passed by Sauer and McDonagh. And its obvious that no matter how much Del Zotto struggles early in his career they're going to stick with him, and rightfully so, he scored 30+ points as a 19 year old rookie.

Staal. Girardi
McDonagh. Sauer
Del Zotto. ____

There will be ONE spot open moving forward, and the Rangers have already been looking for veteran help. That, and McIlrath will be given an opportunity sooner then people probably think, just like Del Zotto and Stepan.

McIlrath is way further up the depth chart then Valentenko, Kundratek, and Pashnin basically isn't even on the depth chart at this point.
