The recent history has shown slight improvement in the program but this season it has reached incredible levels. The coach is an ex-Boston College player. Merrimack is generally one of the lower teams in the Conference. I don't know much of their system or play but the program is very small compared to other schools and they haven't had much success.

Stephane Da Costa’s lower-body injury, suffered in last Friday’s game at UNH, is not season-ending. There is still no definitive timetable for his return to the Merrimack lineup.

Da Costa, Merrimack’s leading scorer with 36 points, underwent testing after swelling receded enough for accurate pictures to be taken.

The injury occurred with 5:57 remaining in the third period of Friday’s 4-2 win over the Wildcats at the Whittemore Center. Da Costa and UNH senior Phil DeSimone collided at center ice and Da Costa’s leg was kicked out from underneath him.
