These questions need to be answered. At least internally.
#1 is really the question we have an opportunity to have some answers to by the end of this season. That's why we need to continue to play the young guys hard and see who rises to the occasion.
We have to come to terms with the fact that we are most likely not getting beyond the 1st round this year, if we even make the PO's.
So run these guys hard and see who wants it. Then everyone else is expendable over the summer to make deals.
We do not have the talent coming up that will provide a game breaker (or 2) that we desperately need. Unfortunately, that means we have to trust Sather to make a deal or 2. Is that Richards? IDK. others? IDK
It will be a matter who is available, the drury/redden impact (and now possibly gabby?), and overall cap.
Maybe we just get one or 2 pieces and go for 2012/13? IDK it's not looking too promising for anything to happen in the short term.
