Uh what? His surgery was completely exploratory. They found some chips and crap that were removed for safety purposes but as far as knee injuries that require surgery go, this was the best, so to speak. Had he kept playing on it, then it would have become career threatening. They caught it early, fixed it, and he'll be fine.
