I didn't see McArdle play this year, but in the games I heard on internet feeds when listening to Calgary Hitmen games, McArdle sounded like he was a force on every shift. He gets high marks for leadership and willing to pay the price. Its also a plus that he's a left wing (Kings lack LW prospects)

Defenseman Luc Bourdon came in at #6 overall. Perhaps he would make a good pick for the Kings at #11.

Just say no to Bourdon. His upside is rather limited to a steady D defenseman type. I say similar to Dan McGillis at his peak.


You're right about McKardle. He, Skille and Bourret all play balls to the wall, and that's what I really like about them.
