Most fans didn't want all these changes. Gimmicks suck! Does the NBA have slamdunk contests to decide games that go to OT? Does MLB have HR derbys to decide extra inning games?

It's dumb and misguided. The NHL does not GET IT. Casual observers don't watch hockey. They care more about those people than the hardcore fans like us that live and die with the sport. There's something wrong with that.
