James van Riemsdyk (lower-body injury) and Dan Carcillo (ill) missed Tuesday's practice, but GM Paul Holmgren thought the Flyers' wingers would be able to play Thursday against visiting Toronto.

JVR absorbed a crunching check from Nick Boynton at Monday's practice. No word on if that caused the injury.

At Tuesday's practice, Nik Zherdev was on a line with Mike Richards and Kris Versteeg, while Andreas Nodl was with Jeff Carter and Claude Giroux.

The Flyers shuffled their PP units. They looked like this: Danny Briere-Scott Hartnell-Ville-Leino, Andrej Meszaros-Kimmo Timonen; Richards-Giroux-Carter, Chris Pronger-Matt Carle.
