He did look a step behind and a little lost... to be expected after one practice. He did look more physical than I expected. Not sure if that was because that is part of the Kings system and not part of the Oilers.
Classic moment was him and Martinez crashing into each other.
This. I'm sure most posters here know I'm not a Penner fan at all, but if he contnues to sit in front of the net all night, he'll be ok. Needs to get some shots on net obviously, but like it's been stated, it was his first game and most players take a few games to get adjusted. Give him a few games to gear up and get the understanding of TM's system.
Hopefully for Penner, TM will leave him on a line for more than three shifts as well from here on.
