He did everything right but he missed a lot of good chances. Am I disappointed or worried about this in the slightest? Nope. But I think the brass realizes he will be a nice 3rd liner next year, and they might as well let him play more to his level on the top line in the AHL. At least thats what I hope. I don't think he will develop his offense and scoring tough as much in the NHL than he will in the AHL. I also want him to experience not only the playoffs, but a playoff drive. Smith I'm very pleased with, both of em actually, and Condra is a good guy who has more of an NHL head than Greening at this point. I was thinking it might be a good idea to send down Condra, and I'm kinda glad that they did.
