Higgins was never more than average sized in NHL terms, in no way could he be described as a power forward. He's just not comparable at all. AK certainly has the tools to be a consistent NHL power forward but he's never been consistent. The simple fact is Pax has shown far more consistency this year than AK ever has. Similarly, Latendresse certainly showed physical ability, but he was never able to stick on a top line despite getting chances with pretty much every forward on the roster. Pax has been the opposite this year, he's succeeded even when his linemates have slumped.

That said, both AK and Latendresse showed huge upside early in their careers, so it's certainly fair to compare them. Perhaps if Guillaume had taken the development path Pax did, he'd have had more success in Montreal.
