He is by all accounts a quality guy off the ice, however he is an average middleweight goon(up close you will see that he is smaller than his listed stats). Not much talent other than fighting, and his skill at that is iffy. Many GM's have given up good talent for him in the past, and each time I think the team dealing Darcy has gotten the better of the deal. A 4th may be too much.
I think Tootoo may take a step backwards next year if he picks up too many of Hordi's bad habits on the ice. When you are 24 and hitting your 4th franchise, some sort of red flag has to go up.

Sorry but I can't agree with you. There's nothing wrong with Darcy. The one and only reason FLA dealt him is that they now have a real monster in Eric Cairns. Hordichuk has way more skill but he's 6 inches smaller. Playing two enforcers would have been a luxury for the Panthers.
I dare to say that I could see Darcy become more of a pest than a true enforcer. He has good skating ability, cares for the defensive end and hits with the best of them. He can still play the game. A Tyson Nash or Dan Hinote type is possible.
