It pains me to admit that you're probably right....but I'm pretty sure they'll be around the $26-28m range, which SHOULD be enough to get a competitive team together, especially with the cheap young forward talent we have.
EDIT : Holy crap, is that Rhett Warrener I see on the UFA list? If he takes $1-1.25m, I say sign him with the quickness. Then we can sign either Aucoin, Hamrlik or Zhitnik, and we're all set.
If we can get Kloucek or Poapst for close to the league minimum, I'd sign one of them.
