Dude, Bernier's played how many games in the NHL? Keeping a possible eventual number one for a couple more years, to gain experience on the cheap is PERFECT asset management.

He'll get his day, but for now he's contracted to be an LA King and will do what he has to do. Whether that be riding the bench and making his fanboyrs cry or coming into aid a flailing Quick.
