I quite agree that Naslund and Forsberg will not be playing together in the NHL this season... unless one or both of them take a significant paycut its just not realistic to see the top two UFA forwards being signed by the same team under the cap.

I see Naslund staying with Vancouver, I would guess he is just waiting to see where Nonis is taking the team before committing as everyone knows he wants to be on a contender... I bet he is waitng to see whether Nonis will add the players to the Canucks which will push them over the top that Burkie was too cheap to acquire. Nazzy's priority is making sure he gets a good shot at the cup.

As for Forsberg, I dont see him signing with Naslund (although I would love him to come to Vancouver too!) or returning to Colorado, there is just no way the Avs can sign Peter along with Hejduk and Tanguay and the remainder of a full roster and stay under the cap. I see Forsberg signing on an Eastern team instead.
