Alexander Ragulin - Sprague Cleghorn
Barclay Plager - Barry Beck
Ian Turnbull - Barry Ashbee
How is that defensive core? Very tough bunch. Ashbee was drafted for his toughness and perseverance, and to protect Turnbull on the bottom pairing. A tough defensive unit playing ahead of a proven goaltender in Tiny Thompson.
